This solution provides for coding 2 labels and applying them on two cards, placed side by side all along the packaging process: it has been, therefore, necessary, to devise a customized solution working with double label rolls and applying the 2 labels at once and ensuring efficiency and also money saving.
Labels are coded with univocal data, coming from a database system, so that products are always trackable afterwards. A 300 dpi (12 dots/mm) printing unit ensures an excellent print quality, even with very small digits and codes. This print and apply system is equipped with a special “split” pad, providing for label suction, separation and final application on cards.
Read More...The Etipack System Etifiale is an automatic labelling system for ampoules. Product hoppers are used to manually load the system in-feed and the vials are conveyed and channelled into a rotary turntable with dedicated product lugs. From here, they are securely located for the labelling phase. Labels are applied as the products are rotated past the labeller and the application is completed by rotating each vial in situ.
Missing label and overprinting controls eject non– conforming products which are collected in a special bin. Change format parts for the turntable and quick release product guides mean an easy change from product to product with no tooling required.
