This solution provides for coding 2 labels and applying them on two cards, placed side by side all along the packaging process: it has been, therefore, necessary, to devise a customized solution working with double label rolls and applying the 2 labels at once and ensuring efficiency and also money saving.
Labels are coded with univocal data, coming from a database system, so that products are always trackable afterwards. A 300 dpi (12 dots/mm) printing unit ensures an excellent print quality, even with very small digits and codes. This print and apply system is equipped with a special “split” pad, providing for label suction, separation and final application on cards.
Read More...The Etipack Pharmatrace system codes directly onto the carton boxes, and checks the integrity of the print by a camera, which reads the code and the text on the label. An industrial PC with a touch-screen panel supplies a simple interface for the operator, and is ready to be compliant with CFR21.
An optional labeller can be added to the machine frame for the application of the pharmaceutical label.
